Vacation Bible School with our college friends from Lutheridge had a blast this July! Sixteen kids, first grade through fifth, from St. Paul's, St. Johannes, and the Old Village neighborhood gathered for approximately seven hours Monday through Friday. They sang songs like the Hippotomous Song, played games like Pew Battleship, walked to a local park for outside time, and made arts and crafts like friendship bracelets.
The week culminated in a closing lunch and program on Friday, including skits, songs, and even a silly production put on by the counselors.
St. Paul's offered all of this for FREE to families as a way to reach out to our community and show our support. Many parents struggle to find childcare during the summer when school is out. St. Paul's wanted to meet that need.
Thanks to Sue Detar and the Christian Education Team, Laura Togami, Pastor Aaron, and many others who made everything come together for Christ's glory.
